BBQ & Family Fun Day Thanks

The committee just wanted to say thanks to everyone who came along on the day of the community BBQ and helped make it a fun day for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather holding out, except for one minor shower in the middle of the day.

We would just like to mention and say thank you to all the local businesses who gave us prizes for the raffle. They were;

Fit Body Toners Bootcamps
Graingers Builders Providers
Celtic Candles (Baldoyle industrial estate)
B2 Hairdressers & Adrian Dunne Pharmacy both in the Racecourse Shopping Centre.
Grainger Pub in Baldoyle Village
The Hilton Hotel at Northern Cross

The proceeds of the raffle will be donated to The Jack and Jill Foundation and The Irish Hospice foundation. It’s not huge money but every bit helps these days. We will let you know shortly exactly how much was raised.

Weather permitting we will meet at the green in front of Sweetman house at 12 o clock on Saturday. If its absolutely pouring we will have to reschedule but only if its a complete wash out. Once we have all assembled we can begin the work. Mainly it will be general tidying up, sweeping, tidying up and weeding the gardens and planting some flowers in the most visible areas. As this is our first time and we are unsure exactly how long everything takes we are only going to tackle the Myrtle side of the estate. If the response is good we can arrange another date to tackle Red Arches.

Can anyone who is coming along bring any of the following equipment they have at home - yard brushes, dustpans, gardening or rubber gloves, trowels, rakes and anything else you figure might come in handy.
Help improve your area by joining with other residents in preparing for Fingal Co. Council's "Cleaner Communites Awards" competition. Tea, & cakes will be served on the green in front of Sweetman House in Myrtle after the clean up. View our flyer for more informationLooking forward to seeing you there!

CORE, the Management Agent has sent out a January Newsletter for Myrtle, and another for those in Red Arches. It's really important to read these newsletters, so you understand the risk of not paying your management fees; this includes no shared lighting, no building insurance and refuse collection.

December 23rd, 2010

CORE, our new Management Agent has a new Christmas Newsletter for all residents. The AGM for our management companies have been confirmed for Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 with Menolly. Details are being posted out today. We had pressed Brendan O'Byrne on this matter when we met with him and he did promise that an AGM would be held in mid-January 2011.

December 7th, 2010

We now have a new Management Agent; "Core Estate Management". They have a letter introducing themselves to everyone; and Page 1 and Page 2. Their email address is <info@core-em.com>, or their phone number is +353 1 214 5465. Please contact them, rather than our old agents (Wyse), with any queries or issues you have about the management of our community.

November 30th, 2010

Join your neighbours for "Christmas Drinks" in Graingers, at 8pm on Saturday, December 11. Graingers have kindly offered to lay on free finger food.

Latest Resident's Newsletter - 1st of November 2010

The Residents Association has produced a November Newsletter of updates & news from around the area. It will also be delivered to all residents in the estate. It should enlighten everyone as to the hard work done by the Association over the last few months. And a reminder; if you didn't pay your membership fees for 2010, please do so. They ensure that we have money to send out newsletters etc.
